5 required software for your new mini PC
A minicomputer is far from the same performance as a regular laptop or a desktop computer. Therefore länmpar it not to install the program at any time.Here are tips on saving and five free tools you need!
Today was the fourth consumer PCs solda mini computer. It is therefore to note that the genre has been a success. As I wrote in my buying guide to minicomputers to be a mini-computer is seen as a complement to your regular PC or Mac. These inexpensive computers for efficient performance to run some heavy applications. The main objective is to use the Internet - surf, email and so on .
But there are a few programs you might need that are not online. Below I list five of my favorite program I run on my own mini PC Asus Eee PC 901 Go. They are very good, completely free and resource-efficient enough to run on a small computer.
Panda Cloud Antivirus
I tested several different antivirus programs on my small laptop. What I find works smoothly, as it draws less performance and stays quietly in the background, is Panda Antivirus Cloud. Antivirus software works, however much of the Internet, so it’s best for you to stay connected with your mini computer. As an alternative, I recommend Avast.
AbiWord
Running Microsoft Office on a mini-computer is rarely indicated, especially the newer versions. Usually you only need a word processor and then there are better choices.AbiWord is strongly reminiscent of earlier versions of Microsoft Word. It is easy to understand and is even though it is so small, a very powerful word processor. AbiWord is fully compatible with Word , which means you can easily open and save Word documents. Want a full Office Suite, I recommend OpenOffice .
Paint.NET
For imaging is Paint.NET is a good choice. It is well designed and has all the basics, and then some, to be able to edit your digital photos. You can get to the pictures, resizing, cropping and so on. Paint.NET has many automatic features, for instance to correct the contrast in a photo with just one mouse click.
Networx
If you use mobile broadband in your mini PC gives Networx you useful information on how fast your broadband is and how much traffic you have sent respektivve received. This is handy as mobile broadband, which generally have limits on how much you can transfer per month, before the rate cut. On holiday abroad is networkx need to see how much it will cost. Mobile Internet abroad can be as well known to be very expensive.
Google Chrome
Many users find that Google Chrome works better than Firefox on a lean mini computer. If you do not usually surf with many tabs up, this is probably because Chrome will not use that much RAM. However, it may be worthwhile to test even the Internet exported 8 and Opera 10 (which also has a turbo mode for slower computers and Internet connections). Maybe they work better for you?
